Special Request Commissions
These are some extra creative jobs Frances has undertook to expand her artistic skills and add some variety
Bon Jovi Shoes
Frances was commissioned to paint some black leather shoes with the Bon Jovi emblem and the Bon Jovi album cover from Have A Nice Day (the red smiley face).
"I bought the leather paints that were required and decided I had to plan this out well... considering I only had one attempt to get them right as I had to paint direct onto the shoes. I drew out an exact scale emblem on paper for practice and when I felt confident I started painting. I was very happy with the result; the vibrancy achieved was just what I envisaged. The commission was a challenge but I enjoy some variation and test of my artistic skills."
Please contact Frances if you have a pair of shoes you would like painted with any image/band/symbol... as long as she has the reference photo/s to work from.

ADVENTURE IS OUT THERE!
The 'UP' house
This was a commission Frances completed for a wedding... the bride and grooms guests used inks and their fingers to create the houses' balloons. A brilliant idea!
"I wanted to create something that wasn't just a cartoon but had a hint of realism, so I used thick white board and artists pencils to achieve this. I was very happy with the result, as was the bride and groom I'm pleased to say!"

Showered With Love!
This was a commission Frances completed for a baby shower... the guests used inks and their fingers to create the rain drops above the drawing. A brilliant idea!
"I thoroughly enjoyed creating this special present for an expectant mother. It was lovely to create a cute drawing with a hint of realism...the main focus being on the pencil drawn calligraphy writing and the meaning behind the piece"

Before and after the guests put their fingerprint rain-drops on the keepsake drawing.

Tattoo Sleeve Design - Prince & Jazz themed
Frances was commissioned to design a prince/jazz themed sleeve tattoo using the clients favourite album covers and instruments.
"The customer wanted the design to be drawn just as it would look on his arm which presented quite a challenge as I had to think in 3D but draw in 2D. Using all of his favourite images and themes I first created some preliminary drawings on some printed CAD arms. After working out some kinks I used the clients arm measurements to draw a 2D scaled design to fit his arm. Making the elements look coherent and interact naturally with each other was not something I was used to but I was happy with the drawing on completion"
Please contact Frances if you want a special tattoo designed...preferably with your idea in mind and some photo references to start the design from.
